Dinner for 8 is held in the Spring & Fall. It is an event when you gather to share good food and
fellowship in a “’host home”. It is an excellent opportunity to get to know folks you might not
know well. Past participants say this is where church acquaintances began to form real
friendships.
How it works: Those who sign up to attend are grouped by the event coordinators into
appropriately sized groups for the host homes. Hosts provide the main dish and beverages and
contact their assigned guests about what to bring, an appetizer, salad, side dish or dessert. Time is
determined by host home … afternoon or evening.
How to participate: Signup slips are available on the table in the narthex. Complete the slip
indicating whether you want to be a host or an attendee. Members of the Church Growth Ministry
Team are available to accept your completed slip or answer any questions you may have.
